Welcome to TeachModo. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TeachModo, including any content, functionality, and services offered through our website and application (the "Service").

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By accessing or using TeachModo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older and who are teachers, school staff, or other educational professionals. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

TeachModo provides AI-generated content to support educators. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

1. All content generated by the Service may contain errors, inaccuracies, or material that is not appropriate for your context.
2. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all generated content before using it in a school or classroom setting.
3. You must exercise your professional judgment when using any content or suggestions provided by the Service.
4. You will not use the Service to generate content that violates any laws, regulations, school policies, or district requirements.

You are responsible for all content and information you provide to the Service. You agree not to submit:

1. Personally identifiable information about students unless you have the right and authorization to do so.
2. Sensitive information protected by privacy or education laws unless its disclosure is properly authorized.
3. Content that infringes intellectual property rights.
4. Any illegal, harmful, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content.

You agree not to use the Service:

1. In any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations.
2. To impersonate any person or entity.
3. To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
4. To interfere with or disrupt the Service.
5. To reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except as allowed by law.
6. For unlawful commercial resale without our prior written consent.

The Service itself, including its software, interface, design, logo, and branding elements, is owned by TeachModo and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the TeachModo platform itself, or use our branding without permission.

Subject to these Terms, you may generally use content generated for you by TeachModo in your educational work, including adapting, reproducing, and sharing materials within your school context.

You remain responsible for reviewing that content and ensuring it is appropriate, lawful, and accurate for your intended use.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

1. THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
2. THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR CONTEXT.
3. ANY CONTENT GENERATED BY THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS WITHOUT REVIEW OR REVISION.
4. ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TEACHMODO AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN PARTICULAR, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE USE OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT IN EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS, INCLUDING CLAIMS RELATED TO ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TeachModo and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to:

1. Your use of the Service.
2. Your violation of these Terms.
3. Your violation of the rights of another person or entity.
4. Your use of AI-generated content in educational settings.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service if you breach these Terms or misuse the platform.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account through the user interface where available.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the entity operating TeachModo, except to the extent mandatory laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise. If you are located in the United States, any non-waivable consumer protections or similar rights available to you under applicable law remain unaffected.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Terms. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those changes.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be struck and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TeachModo regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements and understandings relating to the Service.
